HBOS Brighton
Havelock Corporate Interiors was engaged as the fit-out contractor to deliver the Bank of Scotland corporate design to a new major site in Brighton. The goal of the project was to create the HBOS model by implementing the non standardised design over the ground floor of the building.
Working as principal contractor, Havelock Corporate Interiors provided all trades contracting including mechanical and electrical services to ensure the project was delivered to the required HBOS specification and client brief.
The 5-week programme was achieved snag free with the completion certificate being issued 5 days later.
The main goal of this particular project was to provide a large administration office area along with clerical, staff and toilet areas. HCI took possession of the existing empty retail unit and was asked to design and install the area to conform to the HBOS corporate office specification. We carried out our brief along with the assistance of architectural practice, Bamber and Reddan.
Being handed an empty shell was great from a working perspective as disruptions to the HBOS corporate team or members of the public were not a consideration. Because of this and the fact that we had no restrictions with regard to noise, all works were scheduled to take place during normal trading hours.
Key to the successful delivery of the project was regular communication between Havelock Corporate Interiors, HBOS and Bamber and Reddan project teams communicating progress, phasing of works and any temporary implications.
Havelock Corporate Interiors have many approved supply chain partners in all regions of the UK and utilised the services of CCS Builders, Art and Floor Gallery – Flooring, CCS Ceilings, Peter Brown Decorators, Mckays – Electrical, Mechanical and Data along with Pearce – Security Walling and Bell Security on this particular project.
