Isle of Man Post Office

Havelock was selected to provide a design and build solution from concept to installation, all trades fully project managed.  The design was to provide complete flexibility within the branches for visual merchandising to promote and develop brand and product awareness.

The concept required the use of lifestyle photography to promote both traditional and new services.

The new furniture was ergonomically developed to meet DDA objectives, integrating the latest technology for cash dispensing and thus avoiding the traditional use of fortress like screens, therby encouraging an enhanced interactivity with the public.

The Timetable
6 week on site phased programme, whilst the branch continued to trade.

Significant Characteristics
The project extended to cover the Crown Offices at Douglas and Ramsay and a further twelve sub offices on the island, which integrated elements of the countering and merchandising scheme.
