House of Fraser Westfield
House of Fraser’s new store at London’s Westfield centre opened to universal acclaim on 6th of November. Occupying three floors of the Westfield mall, the 70,000 square foot store is the latest retail showcase to be completed by HCI’s team for House of Fraser in 2008.
John Ryan editor of Retail Week commented "The House of Fraser Store is a glitzy beacon in Westfield’s already sophisticated and alluring environment".
The Westfield store is another successful implementation of Kinnersley Kent Design’s white out of black concept, which has been a massive retail success since its debut in House of Fraser’s Oxford Street flagship.
The HCI design team provided detailed designs services to ensure the KKD concept was executed to the client’s exacting standards. Operating as the main contractor HCI provided House of Fraser with a total interiors solution augmenting its all-trades contracting with a full service manufacturing and installation service.
The key challenge of the project was the challenging schedule. The project was successfully delivered on time to a six week fit-out.
From its completion the project has been recognised as an outstanding success. The HCI team have used their experience to create a store which is truly world-class. The store seamlessly combines key brands such as Armani, Dolche and Gabanna, Hobbs, French Connection with House of Fraser’s in-house brands such as Linea and Howick. Ralph Lauren.
John King, CEO of House of Fraser said "This is a great opportunity for us and a great way to end a superb year of investments and refurbishments for House of Fraser."
