Leading Global Investment Bank

HCI has been engaged by one of the world’s largest global investment banks as the fit-out contractor to deliver projects in their London offices. Bound by a non-disclosure agreement we cannot reveal their identity.

HCI is currently carrying out a densification programme over 5 phases on the second floor of a large London office, for this organisation. In carrying out these works HCI physically reorganise the layout to a live trading environment out-with normal working hours.

HCI provided all trades contracting to enable the client brief to be fulfilled, including mechanical, electrical, data, partitioning, flooring, ceiling, lighting controls, camera systems and building management systems.

As these areas are live working environments, HCI place a great deal of importance on house keeping and at the end of each working day carry out a fully cleaning regime to ensure the areas are up to a high standard of cleanliness, prior to the staff returning to their work stations.

Depending on market fluctuations, HCI have to be available to provide this service within a very quick period of time, to ensure that our client complies with the appropriate legislation.

The goal of this particular project was to provide a quick turn around to densify a whole floor within a 3-week period to accommodate our client’s potential conflict of interest between internal teams. This included solid walling and sound proofing to ensure compliance and privacy.

HCI took possession of the trading floor was asked to design and install the area to conform to the relevant corporate office specification. We carried out our brief along with the assistance of internal team leaders, who were key to the successful delivery of the project. This was mainly due to the regular communication between all parties including the phasing of works and any temporary implications.
