Center Parcs

Center Parcs operates four Villages in the UK, at Sherwood Forrest, Elveden Forest, Longleat Forest and Whinfell Forest. Each is set in a forest environment, typically 400 acres in size and provide high quality accommodation in fully equipped Villas, Apartments and Lodges, which are set amongst trees and streams. Currently

Each Village offers an extensive range of sports and leisure activities plus numerous restaurants, bars and retail outlets and a superb Aqua Sana Spa facility. Woodland, water and a natural healthy environment are the essential elements of a Center Parcs break.

HCI has been supplying Center Parcs with fixed and loose furniture for bedrooms and living areas since 2007. The relationship has gone from strength to strength to date HCI has manufactured furniture for more than 800 2,3 and 4 bedroom villas at all four Center Parcs villages.

HCI’s key strength has been its ability to work in partnership with Centre Parcs and develop a manufacturing and logistics schedule, which seamlessly matches the demands of the main contractors’ refurbishment programme.

HCI’s accommodation project management team has delivered more than 13,000 rooms in the past two years in operational envioronments. Using their substantial experience the team has ensured Centre Parcs benefits from innovation in product design, environmental performance and best practice project management.

Designed and manufactured at HCI’s 250,000 square foot manufacturing plant in Scotland the room-sets were designed were value engineered to minimise their unit cost (through efficient material usage), environmental impact (through reduced waste, environmental accredited supply chain and use of particleboard created from recycled wood waste).

Batch manufacture and local warehousing to each site ensured the main contractors and Center Parcs had the greatest possible flexibility in the programme, minimising risk of disruption to client trading.
